We are truly living in unique times. The coronavirus pandemic is impacting everyone from our families, to our businesses, to our first responders who are bravely on the front lines. As the situation continues to affect our world, we wanted to reach out and update you on how we're supporting ourselves, our community and you—our customers.
Small businesses are a huge part of this Country; all the big supply chains will not really feel the pinch. We would like to recommend you supporting the small businesses during these difficult times. They are people's dreams and hard work, if we also support each other we can all make it through this.
As from Friday 20th March 2020 we are going to ask that your dogs do not come to the shop. We are absolutely gutted to ask this as we love seeing our furry customers, having cuddles and blogging our gorgeous customers. The reason behind this is to adhere to the social distancing guidelines set out by the Government.
All staff will be wearing medical latex gloves, hand washing, cleaning our freezers regularly with anti-bacterial products. We ask that when you enter the shop that you use the hospital grade hand sanitiser that is on our counter.
We are staying in regular contact with our suppliers and we have been advised that it is business as usual. From Monday 23rd March 2020 our Parcelforce courier service will only operate between Monday-Wednesday. Parcelforce are no longer able to guarantee a next day delivery. If we dispatch on a Thursday there is no guarantee that they will try to deliver on a Saturday - we do not want to disappoint our customers as we pride ourselves on the products we offer and the way that they arrive to you. Also in these uncertain times we do not want to have wasted food.
Above all else, our thoughts are with those affected by the virus, particularly those who are sick. We wish them a speedy recovery, and we remain inspired by our healthcare workers and others who are caring for people around the world.
Stay safe; we have found smaller independent shops have the essential items that the larger shops don't.
